We're conditioned to believe power must be earned through pushing harder. I've learned that being fully alive is reclaimed — through the courage to feel deeply, the willingness to release what dims us, and the return to who we really are.
Dorothee Marossero

Why I speak
I spent 20 years engineering solutions inside the medical technology industry — building a career that looked, by every external measure, like success. Then I lost my mother, and death asked me one question: is this really you?
That question cracked me open. It sent me from the boardroom to the yoga mat, from corporate leadership to pranic healing, from striving to be impressive to daring to be real. I speak because I know what it costs a woman to keep performing a life instead of living one — and I know what becomes possible on the other side of that threshold. My work is to help women stop apologising for burning, and start living fully alive.
We do all this to love life.

Signature Keynote
From Busy Striving to Fully Alive: What Loss Taught Me About Living Authentically
What a decade of corporate achievement — and one profound loss — taught me about the difference between a constructed life and a lived one. A story of moving from an "inward stage" of proving, to an "outward stage" of presence, and the elemental practices that got me there.

Additional Talk Options
The Elemental Leader: Reclaiming Fire, Water, Earth & Air in a Burnout Culture
A framework drawn from nature's own intelligence for leading — and living — without burning out.
Nervous System Leadership: Presence Over Perfectionism
Why the most powerful leaders aren't the most polished ones — they're the most regulated ones. Practical tools for leading from calm authority instead of anxious performance.
From Corporate Armor to Authentic Power
A candid look at what it really takes to shed a high-achieving identity — for audiences in engineering, healthcare, and corporate spaces who see "authenticity" as a nice idea but aren't sure it's practical.
The Glass Is Neither Empty Nor Full: Holding Space for the Whole Truth
A conversation about moving beyond either/or thinking — the myth that we must be either grateful or grieving, strong or struggling — and learning to hold the full, contradictory truth of a life without needing to resolve it into something tidier.
Holding Space: A Practical Guide to Emotions, for Ourselves and Others
Most of us were never taught how to actually be with a feeling — our own or someone else's — without fixing it, fleeing it, or drowning in it. A hands-on look at what it really means to hold space, and why it's a skill, not a personality trait.
Finding Balance Without Faking It
Balance isn't a static state you arrive at and keep — it's a living practice of small corrections. A grounded, honest look at what balance actually looks like for high-achieving women, and why "having it all figured out" was never the goal.

Oh my gosh Dorothee, your talk inspired me in so many ways. So many beautiful nuggets of wisdom in this talk. Thank you so much for sharing, it touched my heart so deeply.
KC Baker, USA
There was aspects of your story that transported me, it felt like I was there. I felt you deeply. I felt the intensity. It sets the frame from everything else in your life. A powerful opening and thread. Such a potent ending, designed for all of us, a deep connection, a calling to all of us, to have this inquiry, about our own mortality, not as pressure but as clarity. So well done.
Yvette, USA
It felt like my heart was being held in your talk, in your grief, in your wisdom.

Longer Bio
Dorothee Marossero spent 20 years as an engineer in corporate MedTech, building a career defined by achievement, precision, and performance. The death of her mother in her mid-twenties became the turning point that changed everything: it asked her one uncomfortable question — is this really you? — and she couldn't honestly answer yes.
That question sent her on a journey across continents and into the body: training as an NLP Master Practitioner, becoming an advanced pranic healer, studying Prana Vinyasa yoga with Shiva Rea, and completing initiatory work with the Rite of Passage Institute in Byron Bay. Nine years ago she founded Fearlessly Yourself, a holistic women's empowerment practice now known for its elemental retreat series and its founder's refreshingly honest take on what authenticity actually costs — and gives back.
French-born and now based in Brisbane, Australia, Dorothee brings the rare combination of an engineer's rigor and a healer's depth to every talk, workshop, and retreat she leads. Her mission is simple: to help women stop performing their lives and start living them. Because — as she puts it — we do all this to love life.
