Water
Remembering the Flow · Returning to Joy
A one-day immersive retreat for women ready to stop holding it all together so tight — to soften the edges, let themselves move, feel, and flow back into the creative, sensual, joyful truth of who they are.
Saturday May 9th, 2026
Allambee Sanctuary – Brisbane area
This one day immersion is part of the wider program "Wild Remembering · Wise Becoming" , a 9-month immersive rite of passage for women that weaves nature, embodiment, retreats, and empowerment coaching to help you step out of exhaustion and disconnection, and back into your power, your rhythm, clarity, and vitality. You can join the retreat on its on, or join the 9 month program anytime throughout the year here.
We’re conditioned to believe that a good life must be earned through doing more and more.
I’ve learned that fulfillment is remembered — through the wisdom of the body, our connection with the land, and the cycles that guide all life.
Dorothee Marossero

Welcome to Water
This retreat is for the woman who holds many roles, carries a full life, and feels dried out, stuck, and disconnected from her own aliveness.
You may recognise yourself here:
-
Constantly thinking, planning, holding it all together — so tight
-
Feeling rigid, overstimulated, and cut off from your own joy
-
Knowing you need to let go — but not knowing how
-
Longing to feel fluid, free, and at home in yourself again
Water is where you remember how to flow.
This day is a powerful reset — guiding you from:
-
mental rigidity and overthinking
-
emotion and creativity held tightly in check
-
disconnection from your sensual, feeling, feminine nature
Into:
-
fluid ease and creative aliveness
-
embodied joy and emotional freedom
-
a felt sense of pleasure, presence, and playful belonging
This is not just about feeling good for a day. It's about who you become.
The woman who leaves this retreat:
-
moves through life with ease and fluidity
-
feels, expresses, and creates — without guilt
-
listens to the current within her and trusts it
-
radiates a warm, alive presence others are drawn to
✨ She is the woman who fills the room with joy.
✨ The woman whose aliveness gives others permission to live.
✨ The woman who trusts the wisdom of her own flow.
When you reconnect with Water
When you reconnect to the Water within you:
Your body remembers how to soften and let go Emotions move through you — cleanly, freely, without overwhelm Creativity begins to bubble up from somewhere deep Intuition flows naturally, without effort or second-guessing
You stop pushing against life — and start moving with it
You don't just manage life anymore — you dance with it.
And something even deeper changes…
You no longer feel separate from the rhythm of life around you. You feel part of the natural current — not someone swimming against the tide, but carried by it.
With that comes a deep sense of aliveness — the kind that is hard to find in modern life.
A quiet knowing that you are free to feel. Free to create. Free to play. Free to flow.
The qualities of Water begin to live in you:
💧 fluidity
💧 joy
💧 creativity
💧 sensuality
💧 trust in the current of life
You feel yourself moving from the inside out — fluid, alive, expressive.
And because you flow, you know who you are.
The Cost of not reconnecting to our fluid nature
When we don't allow ourselves to feel, move, and flow — life finds a way to stagnate anyway. It shows up as:
-
a creativity that has gone quiet
-
joy that feels just out of reach
-
emotions dammed up with nowhere to go
-
a body that has forgotten how to play
-
a numbness dressed up as coping
-
a quiet thirst we can't quite name
Life becomes heavy. Dry. Effortful.
We lose touch with the part of us that knows how to delight, to dance, to desire, to dream.
Many women keep searching — new tools, new courses, new strategies — yet still feel something essential is missing.
Not because they are broken, but because what they are truly thirsting for cannot be downloaded or consumed.
It must be felt, moved through, and fully lived.

What we will do during the day
Our key elements

A Nature Immersion
A serene location within the Brisbane area.
Allambee Sanctuary is located on peaceful acreage overlooking the Tingalpa Reservoir. It’s a tranquil retreat for the community to escape the daily bustle of urban life for a while.
This retreat invite you to step out of the noise and pace of everyday life and return to what is essential. Through time on the land, your nervous system softens, your senses awaken, and a deeper remembering begins: you are not separate from nature — you belong to it.
Nature is not a backdrop to this work; it is an active partner, shaping each experience.

Embodiment Practices
At the heart of this work is Prana Vinyasa Yoga — a living, breathing practice developed by Shiva Rea that reconnects you to your own life force.
Prana Vinyasa is not about perfect poses or pushing the body.
It is a rhythmic, intelligent movement practice guided by breath, sensation, and inner awareness — moving from the inside out, rather than performing from the outside in.
This practice teaches you to listen.
To feel energy move.
To honour your natural rhythms and inner timing.
A profoundly transformative practice.

Nourishment
Nourishment is part of the practice.
At the retreat, food is not a break from the experience — it is woven into it. You’ll be nourished with wholesome, plant-based, earthy meals prepared slowly and intentionally, in alignment with the Water element and the principle of ahimsa.
This is grounding, warming, nourishing food that supports your nervous system, digestion, and energy, so your body feels safe, held, and deeply fed.
Meals are shared with presence, allowing you to receive without rushing, guilt, or distraction.
For many women, this alone is profoundly healing — a remembering of what it feels like to be truly nourished, by the land, by care, and by life itself.

The Power Of Sound
Sound is one of our most ancient healing technologies. Long before words, it was used to calm the nervous system, open the heart, and restore inner harmony.
In this program, sound healing and sacred music are woven throughout the journey as a direct pathway into presence and release. During retreats, sound allows the mind to soften while the body lets go — gently dissolving tension and emotional residue held beyond words.
We also learn and chant mantras together. Chanting is not about performance, but resonance. As voices join, breath synchronises, hearts attune, and a deep sense of belonging emerges. Over time, these sacred sounds become grounding companions — offering clarity, courage, and connection during times of transition.
Sound reminds us that healing doesn’t always come through effort.
Sometimes, it comes through listening — and being moved from the inside out.

The Power Of Community
This life is not meant to be done alone.
Step into a living community of women — where you are met exactly as you are.
We share joy and laughter, depth and vulnerability.
Both are medicine.
Here, women speak honestly — without fixing, comparing, or rushing.
Being seen and witnessed softens the nervous system, dissolves shame, and restores a deep sense of belonging.
This is the power of real community:
to be held while you change, and to remember you were never meant to do it alone.
Testimonials

Dorothee: you have such a compassionate, nurturing heart. Just love being held in the space you provide. Your simple flowing sequences have reignited the delicacy and juiciness of the water practices into my home practice again. And your voice is exquisite! From another realm. Pierces the heart and all thought just melts away.
Desiree, QLD
I would absolutely recommend and I have been telling everyone how fantastic it was. I would definitely go again too. I’m feeling so in my body, and even though it was a bit of a shocker jumping into work world the next day I have noticed I’m much more intentional in all my movements and awake and aware of all the moments and the ripple effect of being present to my life and that of others in my world.
Jodi, QLD
I have walked away from this retreat feeling more connected with self and feel like everything makes so much more sense now. It's like a few missing puzzle pieces have been found. I would highly recommend it to any woman that needs to find themselves in the "busyness" of life. This, to me, is self-love and that is essential.

At the threshold of forgetting & remembering
We are living in a time of profound disconnection — from the land, from our bodies, from the natural rhythms that once guided our becoming. In the speed and noise of modern life, something ancient and essential has been forgotten.
And yet, within this forgetting, a quiet remembering is stirring.
Not as an idea to be learned, but as a lived truth to be embodied.
Wild Remembering · Wise Becoming arises at this threshold — as a long-form invitation to return to relationship with nature, not as something outside of us, but as the living intelligence we belong to.
Through nature immersion, embodied practice, empowerment coaching, and gentle rites of passage, this work supports a remembering that can be lived — in relationships, choices, boundaries, and the way we move through the world.
This is not about escaping life.
It is about learning how to live it differently.

Why This Is Different Than Other Retreats
Many retreats offer beautiful practices.
What makes this experience different is not just what we do — but how and why it’s held.
It’s a re-patterning experience that meets women at the level of the nervous system, the body, and lived reality.
✨ A carefully woven facilitation team
This retreat is held by multiple facilitators, each deeply rooted in their own embodied practice — not performing, not overlaying, but co-creating a coherent field.
Each modality supports the others. Nothing is random.
✨ Prana Vinyasa Yoga — not just movement
This is not a “flow class”.
Prana Vinyasa works with:
-
rhythm
-
breath
-
sensation
-
nervous system regulation
-
and elemental intelligence
It invites you out of your head and into your body in a way that is grounded, intelligent, and deeply respectful of where you are.
✨ Sound as nervous system medicine
Jo’s sound journey with gongs and didgeridoo works at a cellular level.
It allows your system to settle, release, and recalibrate.
This is where integration happens.
Where the body receives what the mind cannot process.
✨ Ritual, sharing, and true presence
This is not surface-level sharing.
The circles are held with depth, safety, and maturity.
No fixing.
No spiritual bypassing.
No pressure to speak.
Just women being witnessed — and witnessing each other.
This is where belonging becomes real.
✨ The land is not a backdrop — it is a participant
Allambee Sanctuary is not a backdrop.
The land holds the pace, invites slowness, and reminds the body how to soften.
You don’t visit this place.
You enter into relationship with it — and that relationship continues beyond the day.
✨ The difference you’ll feel
Women don’t leave saying:
“That was nice.”
They leave saying:
“I feel different in my body.”
“I’m calmer — and it’s not effort.”
“I know where I stand again.”
“I feel like myself.”
This is what happens when practices are intentionally sequenced,
when facilitators are deeply embodied,
and when the container is built for lasting change — not momentary relief.
