Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Is this retreat physically demanding?
This journey includes physical components, such as a nature hike, yoga and embodied movement. While all practices are offered with options and are accessible to most people, a basic level of physical fitness and mobility is required.
Participants are always encouraged to listen to their bodies and participate at their own pace. That said, if you have existing injuries, health conditions, or concerns, we ask that you check with your medical professional before joining to ensure this experience is appropriate for you.
Our intention is to support you safely and respectfully — honouring both the body’s wisdom and its limits.

You don't need to have it all figured out — you just need to be willing to arrive
Who is this retreat NOT for?
This Retreat Is Not For You If…
You are looking for a luxury pampering getaway where you simply rest and switch off — this retreat is a deeply immersive, sometimes gently confronting experience. Rest is woven in with intention, but you will be invited to show up and go inward.
You are not yet ready to allow any degree of vulnerability — our circles are held gently, with tenderness and care, often in pairs, and you are always sovereign in your own experience. There is no pressure to share beyond what feels right for you. But if the idea of being in a warm, intimate space with other women feels completely closed off right now, this may not be your moment — and that is perfectly okay.
You are hoping for quick fixes or a neat list of strategies to take home — transformation here happens in the body, in stillness, and in the spaces between. It cannot be rushed, packaged, or systematised.
You are currently in an acute mental health crisis — this work is deeply healing, but it is not a substitute for clinical care. If you are in crisis right now, we lovingly ask that you seek the appropriate professional support first, and trust that this space will be here when you are ready.
What if I’m more introverted or not comfortable in groups?
Many women who join are sensitive, reflective, or introverted. The group culture honours silence, choice, and individual pacing. You will never be pressured to perform, share, or engage beyond your comfort.
How big is the group?
Group size is intentionally limited (maximum 15) to maintain depth, safety, and intimacy. Final numbers will be shared once enrolment opens.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely — and you wouldn't be the first. In fact, the majority of women who join our retreats arrive solo, and many describe it as one of the most liberating gifts they have ever given themselves.
There is something quietly powerful about arriving somewhere just for you — no one to check in with, no shared dynamic to navigate, no sense of being responsible for someone else's experience. You get to be completely present to your own journey, follow your own rhythm, and go as deep as you choose.
Women who come alone often find it easier to open up. Without the familiar anchor of a friend beside you, something softens — and real connection with the other women in the circle tends to happen more naturally and more quickly.
What you will find here is a container held with enough safety and warmth that you will not feel alone for a single moment. Many women arrive as strangers and leave as sisters — carrying friendships that continue long after the retreat ends.
Coming alone is not a compromise.
It is a declaration.
I am here for myself.
And that, in itself, is already the beginning of the work.
Is this retreat spiritual or religious?
This work is spiritually grounded but not religious. It draws inspiration from nature-based wisdom, embodiment, and rites of passage without adhering to any specific belief system.
What kind of group culture do you hold?
The group culture is rooted in respect, confidentiality, consent, and care. This is a space free from fixing, advising, or comparison — where presence and listening are central.
Where is the retreat located?
Space is held at NEST in Main Arm, NSW in the Byron hinterland
Exact address will be shared 4 weeks before the program starts.
