Following the Pulse of Life: An Introduction to The Transformative Practice Of Prana Vinyasa


I discovered Prana Vinyasa in Sydney, when a friend invited me to a week-long yoga immersion led by Shiva Rea. She spoke of it as something different, something beautiful—and I trusted her. I also trusted the quiet inner yes that rose in me.


I was right.


That experience changed my yoga practice, my teaching, and—if I’m completely honest—my life.

What I encountered was unlike anything I had known in yoga before. A practice that led me into states of being I hadn’t experienced on the mat: moments of true union. Union with breath and movement, with the subtle energies we were inviting and shaping, and with a deep, intimate reconnection to myself.

This is my humble attempt to put into words what Prana Vinyasa is. But truly, it is a practice meant to be felt, not explained.
